Learn American English Online Cyberacademy -- Free website with multiple levels of English grammar lessons. (Recommended by Claudia R.)

Preposition Exercises -- This site, from the Multi-Cultural Educational Services in Minnesota, includes an introduction and quizzes on the prepositions.

Grammarman Comics
-- Learn grammar with comics which are available in comic form with audio, PDF, or movie form (must have access to YouTube to view the movie - not currently available in TeacherTube).  This site also includes links to free materials and other resources for teachers. To view the comics, click on "Comics."

Phonics / Phonemic Awareness

Phonetics: The Sounds of English --  Animations with video and audio of the proper phonetic pronunciations of English. (Recommended by Maria S.)

Genki English -- Study consonants, vowels, and blends. This site includes audio.

Starfall -- Reading and phonemic awareness.


Spelling City -- Online spelling practice.  Use one of their prepared lists or create your own.
