Lotus Notes is a technology created by IBM Software Group as the client side application to access business email, calendars, and other applications on an IBM Lotus Domino server.
 
Saint Paul Public Schools utilizes two versions of Lotus Notes – a desktop client that must be installed and configured for each user on each computer, and a webmail client that is accessible from any internet-connected computer through a standard web browser.
 
Availability:  At all times, except for planned outages.
 
How to log in to Lotus Notes:
  • Desktop client – Start the Lotus Notes application and enter your password when you see the log in screen containing your name. Note: The application must be configured for you beforehand and your desktop client password may be different from your webmail client password.
  • Webmail client – In a web browser, go to the web address http://spps8.spps.org. Enter your first and last name (including the space) as the user name and your webmail password in the boxes and then click Sign In.

  • Modification of accounts
