SPPS Technology Integration Initiatives In
its seventh year, Saint Paul Public School’s Technology Integration Initiative continues its endeavors to ensure that
all
SPPS students have the necessary skills to live and work in the 21st
Century. The Initiative accomplishes this by providing teachers with
equal parts training, access to hardware and software, and coaching to
maximize the effective use of educational technology.
This
initiative supports the work of the Saint Paul Public School’s Project
for Academic Excellence standards-based literacy program as well as
district and Minnesota content standards.

Resources: The Information Technology Department purchases a number of electronic
resources that are available to staff, students and parents. These
on-line encyclopedias, electronic reference libraries, digital video

Integration Services, based at 1930 Como, provides technology
integration support for all SPPS schools. The IT department can assist in
