Project Description:A quick and easy tool for students to create presentations and display information. A kind of “PowerPoint Light.”
Learner Outcomes:Students will create a presentation using AppleWorks Drawing. The linear format of the slide show lends itself very well to sequencing.
Tools and Resources:Computer with AppleWorks. Presentation can be done on that machine or to a large group using an LCD projector. It’s not difficult to merge many student slide shows into one to create a single, group show. This is a nice thing to set up outside your classroom during conference times.
Tech Tips: Having students pre-plan their slides on paper is a big time saver. Good slide shows have readable text. Font style and size is very important. Limit the amount of text on a slide.
