An email will be sent with instructions and a code for signing up for United Streaming's video collection.
Go to www.unitedstreaming.com
Enter the following in the the New User Passcode fields: XXXX-XXXX
Click Go.
Fill out the form using your school address and your SPPS email address. You only have to fill in the fields that have the little blue star after them (required).When it comes to creating your username, you need to think of one that will be unique to ALL of United Streaming's subscribers. If you pick one that is already taken, you will just be asked to try another. It's not a big deal. Your Username needs to be at least 6 characters with no spaces. Your password can be at least 4 characters long. Do not use your email username and password or any other (ATM, credit card, etc...) that you would not be willing to share with a student or collegue. You don't store secrets on United Streaming so you're not really protecting anything.
On the bottom of the form make sure you click that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions then click on submit. If you want to receive the monthy newsletter keep that box checked.If you filled it out correctly you will go right to the United Streaming search page. If you missed something or made a mistake you will be prompted to make the correction on the form. Fix it and check the agreement box and click on submit again.
Mac users only-----Before looking for your first movie you need to change your preferences. Look on the top of the United Streaming page and click on My Preferences. Scroll to the bottom of this form and after Media Type Selection click on the Q for Quicktime, for player selection choose Stand Alone. Click on Save Changes.
Now you are set. United Streaming will send you an email with your username and password. You might want to keep this email just in case you forget.
