2008 Student Showcase: Teaching and Learning with Technology

We are happy to announce The Eight Annual Student Showcase will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 from 4 - 6 PM in Arlington High School's Great Hall The technology showcase gives students from through out the district an opportunity to demonstrate curriculum-based technology projects for an audience of district staff, other students, community members, and district employees.
Last year's event attendance of over 400 students from 62 classrooms at 41 schools was the largest to date. Students presented on how technology was used to support district curriculum and enhance student achievement. Parents, district staff and fellow teachers had the opportunity to view demonstrations of technology projects, watch student created films, and share ideas on ways to incorporate technology into the classroom. The Showcase was well attended, at times even elbow to elbow.
